I know it’s kinda late for this tag, but after a bit of “should I or should I not”, I decided this can be a good tag to make some interesting and second recap about how my 2018 went.
I hope you will like it too. This time I won’t tag people, so I guess you will all forgive for this 😂
- tag and link the person who tagged you, aka Kaleena @Reader Voracious
- tag the creator, and so it’s time to say thanks to Jenn for this amazing tag
- Tick/cross off the ones you’ve done
- Tag another 10 people (but this won’t happen
sorry not sorry)+
Received an ARC and not reviewed it: *looks around, play it vague, runs*
I’m culprit of doing that. 2018 has been the year of un read e-Arcs. I won’t request any other e-Arcs during 2019, but will read away all that I’ve now. Only when I’ll be free from the others I’ve already, I’ll try to request something.
Have less than 60% feedback rating on NetGalley: Aha! Nope! I managed to keep my ratio over the 60%. It lowered, that’s for sure, but I still managed to make it right. It was a good 2018 ratio.
Rated a book on Goodreads and promised a full review was to come on your blog (and never did): I never write things like “review to come”. When I finish a book, unless I ended up doing something diffrent, I always review books. It can take some time, but I write those. So, nope. Last year wasn’t an exception.
I’M DOING GREAT, RIGHT?
Folded down the page of a book: I don’t remember if I did, but I never folded enough to mark the page. In the end: I don’t care much. Does it count or not? Err…. that’s some good question right here.
Accidentally spilled on a book: No, I don’t think I did. Sure this tag is asking me a lot of things of 2018 (I don’t say) but my memory is not that strong. 😂
DNF a book this year: Well, last year. But yes, I did. But on my side I’ve excuses. The book was by
- an italian author, and usually this mean poor quality in fantasy and sci-fi genre
- it was offensive
Bought a book purely because it was pretty with no intention of reading it: Oof, no. And for many reasons. Books, need to be enjoyed not only watched. Plus, I don’t have money to use on a thing I’ll only watch. I just cannot wrap my head around this concept.
Read whilst you were meant to be doing something else (like homework) : always… and I don’t think I’ve to add more.
ME EVADING RESPONSABILITIES
Skim read a book: not fully? Sometimes I may fastly read some pages but I never fully skim read a novel.
Completely missed your Goodreads goal: totally. A big giant fail that I’ll never forget. How can I say… shit happens?
Just 23 books for me during 2018
Borrowed a book and not returned it: this didn’t happen in 2018 and won’t happen in any other year of my life.
Broke a book buying ban: actually 2018 has been a good not buying year! I created my book ban and generally sticked to it
Started a review, left it for ages then forgot what the book was about: oh, hell no! It didn’t happen at all. Okay, I admit sometime I forgot some details and didn’t know exactly what to write about, but I never fully forget what a book was about. 2018 and my memory, despite being kinda messy, still work on these things.
MY MIND SOMETIMES
Wrote in a book you were reading: not really? Sometimes I use a pencil to highlight quotes I like. But I do not actually write anything in novels.
Finished a book and not added it to your Goodreads: why…. should… I… ever… do… that? *very confused*
Borrowed a book and not returned it to a friend: this question as already been answered >.>
Dodged someone asking if they can borrow a book: I did. A friend of mine kept dropping around the hints she wanted to borrow a book, but I don’t know how to politely say that I TRUST NO ONE WITH MY BOOKS FIGHT ME
Broke the spine of someone else’s book: no…. *this questions are starting to scare me*
Took the jacket off a book to protect it and ended up making it more damaged: no…
Sat on a book accidentally: I do sit on books. They don’t break under my weight or something like that. I only do it with hardback. Okay, is not like I go around sitting on books, but it happened that I sat on one. Not sure if it was 2018 or not.
